In Naivasha, WAVE has perfected the art of large-scale farming with remarkable results, having achieved two successful onion harvests—the most recent yielding 4.6 tonnes. Of this, one tonne was dedicated to supporting the children at Children’s Garden Home (CGH), ensuring direct nutritional and food security benefits, while the remaining 3.6 tonnes were sold to generate income that sustains ongoing programs. This model not only strengthens our self-reliance but also creates a lasting impact by directly linking agricultural success to the well-being and growth of the children we serve.
